Mighty4 and then some

Im finally done with this exhausting weekend. Mighty4 was awesome, thanks to Lil B, locking has been way more fun to do and I'm glad it shows judging from all the comments. I want to thank everyone who's supported me, us along the way coz I'm really understanding how I dance now. Whats stupid is I lost that along the way and now I need to backtrack in a sense to where I used to dance and use my face and my own style. I blame youtube haha, no, I think people like Gogos are awesome, its just I gotta stop learning from that and do my own thing more, have fun! its a dance dummy! Click for more of me haha


Went to Caboose's class today and it felt awesome being picked to go up and be the example for the class on a move he says thats rarely done, yes, the whole time I kept thinking this is sweet! Even his g/f went up to me at the end of practice and thought I was "amazing" and my facial expressions were great. Really good to hear from people like that despite hearing such negative comments behind my back, I know Im not supposed to let those words/people bring me down but I can't help it in this case.

Anyways, after this John Muir performance, I'm taking it easy. I'll just stick to practicing at home on a regular basis and when there's a performance coming up, I'll be at mission, but yea, i need to save on $$ and plus I think I have more fun when I don't dance every day. Too much of something isn't a good thing and that can apply to dance too. I can practice by just listening to music. Plus I want more fun in my life. Yes, I'm going to play wow and video games, I'm going to watch TV and anime, read books, hang out with Lyn more, but of course I'm still going to work out and dance, its just I need more balance and I don't want to overwork myself to the point where I need to call a sick day from work =P

I want a new toy

I want this! Its an older Nikon D40, which is a Digital SLR camera. I used to have a straight up manual SLR cam back since high school when I took photography. It became a fun hobby of mine for a while but once I picked up my canon digital camera, I kinda never looked back.



Reason being that with a digital I wouldn't have to ever develop film again which was the most annoying part of taking pictures. My shots were decent enough on my digi cam that I didn't think I would need my old 35mm anymore. Eh, I look back and those shots I took w/ it would still beat out anything I did today with my point and shoot. After seeing all my friends grab dslrs I thought I should at least check out the price of these babies and found the entry level Nikon D40 to be a pretty good choice. I've always had Canons as my point and click but after reading several reviews, I'm kinda falling for the underdog Nikon on this one. The other choice would have to be the Canon Rebel Xsi, which EVERYBODY has.



I guess another reason to pick up the cheaper nikon, which can still take amazing pictures by the way. Its all about the lens, and the photographer down the road. To save moneys I'll probably turn in some rewards card credit. Im using my first paycheck from my new job to pay but saving up for that Condo is killing me.

Batman: Dark Knight Review!

I was able to see this most awesome movie last weekend with my friends back at the OC. This was one of the coolest opening nights I've been to. The workers at Regal dressed up as characters from the movie, so one guy opening the door was Batman, and the Joker was taking our tickets. very cool.

So the movie: greatest opening scene I've seen in a while period. This movie is really smart and there's so much going on (in a good way) that I need to see this again (I'm buying this on blueray). I thought Heath Ledger's performance was going to be good but wasn't sure because of all the hype but wow, he actually scared me and it was really entertaining. I guess the only complaint I had was that it was a little long but if I had known, I wouldn't think of it. Dark Knight throws you into a world where you really have no idea what's going to happen next even if you're deep into the comic world. I thought Iron Man was the best superhero movie this summer but Dark Knight beats it. This movie was much more than good vs bad and that's what makes it entertaining for everyone, not just the fans.
